Spring Is In The Air: Brighten Up Your Grilled Cheese With Chèvre & Blueberry & Thyme Jam
Grilled cheese: a classic dish for an easy lunch, rainy day, or whenever you want food that feels like a warm hug. As loved and cherished as grilled cheese is, sometimes you just crave an elevated version of your favorite foods. Whether you’re entertaining friends or treating yourself to a homemade dinner, this Grilled Cheese with Blueberry & Thyme Jam recipe is a fresh take on a familiar classic.
Rather than a melter like cheddar, gruyère, or mozzarella, this recipe calls for Chèvre. The creamy texture and tangy goat’s milk flavor add a freshness to the sandwich. Blake Hill Preserves Blueberry & Thyme Jam gives the sandwich a hint of sweetness with aromatic notes, while the arugula adds a bright, peppery bite. Altogether, this combination makes for the perfect Spring or Summer rendition of the classic grilled cheese.
